How far are you from getting an Approval. I took the liberty of taking a data extract from instrack.sce.net. To view the results please open the excel file that I have zipped.

There is noting to validate the quality of information, but gives you a fair idea about the processing time Vermont is taking.

My 140 Mailing date is 10/15/2002 and Notice date is 10/23/2002 filed in EB3 . This chart looks great. May be you can update with my information too. It is a great job to gather the info.

If the information at instrack is representative, there doesn't seem to be a positive trend - still very slow!

I am still hanging in there with CP option though. I hope we will all have better luck soon!

262 is ins internal date to track application. In this case 262 corresponds to August 14 2002. It is on this date the application was either received, logged or your green card fee was credited in the ins system.

Does this make sense...:rolleyes:

The INS internal date must be sophisticated
I have no clue how they do the conversion. :eek:
 
Day of fiscal year

I think those 3 digits denote the day of the fiscal year

INS fiscal year starts from Oct 1st.

My I-140 ID is -079- with ND of 1/14/03 and When I calculated from Oct 1st 2002 as day 001 (excluding all sat, Sun and national holidays) it matches.....

And the same way my I-485/EAD/765 ND 3/24/03 matches with -131- ...

If we compare fee date/RD/NDs of different people for different months we can find out for sure...

It certainly is encouraging!
I think we must see the possitive side of the trend in approvals, also, surprsingly the RFE have not been much!, did you compile for any rejections?
By and large, I think while appreciating your job, we must see it as a possitive trend, although quite low to be honest!
