How is the entry to the US now??

Just to know what to expect.
Last year, on my first trip with a GC, I was sent to secondary inspection. It was not bad at all and did not take long. I was lucky that I was the only one in that room so I did not have to wait a turn. Since then, the new fingerprint at the airport thing has been applied. I did not travel during that time.
- Can anybody who’s familiar with Houston Airport confirm if GC holder still go with citizens in the same lines or do they have spate lines for finger printing?
- I know this cannot be uniform but did fingerprinting made things easier/faster or more difficult?
 
I came through Houston last month. Yes, same lines for USCs and LPRs. The US-VISIT procedures added no more than 60 seconds to the process. I was asked only two questions - what countries I visited and how long I was out of the US.
