How is early FP2

No difference

I had my FP2 scheduled for Oct 14th, I did it on Sep 22nd, There has been no difference so far. My LUD has not changed . I wonder if it makes a difference.

According to me, if you have the time do it early. One less thing to be worried about until approval. But don't expect your case to be approved faster. USCIS goes by their own schedules.

My original FP2 scheduled date was 09/10/2004. I did an early FP on 08/03/2004 - almost 40 days early. But my LUD changed only 4 days after originally scheduled date - 09/14/2004. And eventually, I-485 approval one month afterwards: 10/13/2004.

I did my FP2 6 weeks before the scheduled date. I was approved 3 weeks after the FP2 was done.

If I had followed the date on the FP2 notice, I would still be waiting to do it later this month......

So I definitely think an early FP can be to your advantage.

Thanks everybody! I just finished th FP2, Will they update the status online soon? thanks again!

In my case, I did early FP2 on 09/10, scheduled was 10/05. Got approval notice on 10/14. No LUD changes in between.

But I have seen a couple cases where the approval happened after early FP2, and before the scheduled FP2 date. So well worth the try.

In our case, there was a LUD change 4 days after scheduled FP2. The status message, however, was still from FP1. Approved after about a month from LUD change.

You may not get an update. But at least you are ready to be approved. Glad the FP2 went smoothly.

Hi, all the experts, How is early FP2, is it good? is worth to try it? thanks!
We did a early FP2 - 20 days prior the scheduled date.
We had no problem at all and our case was approved after interview about 45 days after FP2 was done.
