How hard is it to get a Visitor\'s Visa?

I just got my GC two months ago, and I would like to invite my brother to stay here with me for a month or so for his hols...he is a student in India. is it possible for him to get a visitor\'s visa? or will he be denied on the basis of being a potential immigrant??

He probably will. But does he need to mention you as relative if he
is not going to emigrate right now? Provide him couple of your friends to invite him. Then it\'ll probably work.

My bro got a 10 years visa from bombay , india.

It was pretty cool cos he is just 18 years at age. Only one question asked "Why do you want to go to usa" he said almost in the crying tone that "he(my bro) misses me and want to come see me" as he was almost sure that he would get rejected.
but i guess it was his day and he got a 10 years multiple entry !!
