How fast INS updates INS ONLINE or TELEPHONE Message?

In my case, 485 was approved on Nov 20, 2002.
I checked the online status in the morning on Nov 20. It was
already updated. Then I checked the AVM in the afternoon, it
was updated too.
In case you are interested, your online status after approval
would say something like this
"This case has been approved. On November 20, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours."

In my case, as you can see it took 12 days to approve.
But there are people who are waiting for more than a month
after NSC received the RFE reply. So it's very unpredictable.
I guess, it all depends upon the immigration officer. It's very
hard to believe that they are following any kind of mandatory
guidelines. I don't see any consistency in the NSC approvals. Otherwise we all would have been happy.
In Hindu philosophy, we believe in Karma theory.
"Karmanyevadhikaraste......... "
During those tough days of RFE, I always said to me that
"I did everything I could do at my best, now it's upto the
might God to decide my destiny. If I have done something wrong
in my existing life or previous life, I am bound to suffer. And I am
ready for that."
