How fast GC can get her spouse into US ??

Hi everyone
I am a green card holder from last 2 yrs. I am planning to get marrried in India. Can someone please tell me like after marriage on what all basis I can get my spouse here and how much time it takes these days?. Can any factor speed up or delay the process as such. Please guide me about the steps..

your spouse will be subjected to a very long wait if applying under the spouse of permanent resident category. the major alternative is for your spouse to come to qualify and come to US independently on a H-1 or L-1 (work) visa.
