How early you we can file EAD and AP before expiration.

according to my lawyer, she said I could not file the renew EAD or AP early than 6 month before expiration. I am in TSC though.

I am not a lawyer, and please just use my comments as reference.

In 2003 it took then 8 months to process my AP.
so in 2004 I applied to renew my AP 8 months before expiration date.
TSC processed my AP in 14 days but luckily it was to start after the current one expired. So haoyun04 I don't think your lawyer is correct in stating that you could not file the renew EAD or AP early than 6 month before expiration.

I would apply atleast three months in advance and if the current published wait time it longer than three months then apply earlier than the current wait time.
