How early I can apply for citizen ship ?

Hi,

I am going to complete 5 years after getting GC by december 2005. So 6 more months to go. Some of my friends say, I can apply now. Some say I should only apply after completing 5 years.

Whcih is correct. Can I apply now ?

i believe u can apply 3 months before u complete your 5 years.


not 6 months before.

read the Guide to Naturalization, i saw it written there somewhere.

read the naturalization guide on USCIS website.
You can apply up to 90 days prior to your 5 years and not a day before that.
