It shouldn't matter anymore. The PD is CURRENT for all categories in employment-based immigration.

Priority dates doesn't matter anymore for EB based I-485 process since priority date is current. It matters only if the priority dates retrogress since BCIS will adjudicate your case only if the priority date is current. I don't see any possibility of priority dates retrogress in the near future.

But there is always a possibility for backlogs developing in EB3 category.

Notice date - 03/26/2003 for I-485 under EB-3

So, i understood like:

Priority date is only to issue VISA number under specified category , like Employment OR Family based etc..

When BCIS adjudicates the I-485 petitions, they only go by my Notice date of the petition filed but not by the Priority date !!!
