How does one correct error in name ordering in a passport

My kids names were wrongly ordered in their passport. Their middle name was listed in their passport as their first name. Their birth certificate has the correct ordering of names. How do i correct this with the INS as the 485 that i submitted for them has their names written as it is in their birth certificates.
Do you guys have any idea what documents that i need to supply to correct this anomaly?
 
If their passports are wrong, correct the passports. Contact the nearest consular post that handles passports for your country. YOu obviously can't change their birth certificates.
 
Yes,i did not notice the mistake and sent the biodata page to USCIS.
Now,i was just going over the documents and i saw the mistake.
I am really not sure what to do next
