How does ins know that company name changed?

If they sent you an RFE asking for employment letter. Secondly, difference in 140 and 485

how about name changed after 485? also most people dont get rfes...
so this should not be a problem for most of us.

You will be lucky, if you got it approval with out and RFE. If you get an RFE asking for employment letter then it all depends who is working on your case.
