How does AMENDED 1-140 application differ ??

How does AMENDED 1-140 application differ from NEW I-140 application??

It is required when either your company name changes, is merged with some other company etc..

How does INS know that this is AMENDED I-140 application and not NEW I-140 application

I did not find form for AMENDED I-140

I did not find form for AMENDED I-140 on INS or other immigration sites.

I think you fill up the standard I-140 and

possibly attach a letter indicating that it is an AMENDMENT
