Most of the time CIS updates your case number (H1B case number) that your case has been revocked...
so just check egov site by entering your case number.

2 comments:
1. Most of the employers actually DO cancel your H1 after you leave - they are required by law to do so. If they don't, you can force them legally to pay your wages even though u didnt work there.
2. The USCIS status website is usually not updated with H1 cancellation information. If you call the 800 number or file for FOIA, you would be able to know. Or ask u employer if you have good relations.
