How do you guys handle this situatuion

At my work place, I was only one Desi, and recently we got a contractor who is a Desi and sit next to me, he talks all the time in the local language not english which is really irritating me.. I'm not sure how my co-workers take that.. How do you guys handle that??..

I think, it's basic manners to talk in common language.. right guys??..

What do you guys think, is it okay to talk in local language since it's our right to talk...
 
Well,

If you don't like it, just tell your co-worker to talk in English. People on this board will have different opinions and I won't be surprised even if someone starts to question your attitude.

If you don't want your co-worker to communicate with you in a language other than English, its your call to tell him/her about it. End of story.
 
what is there to get irritate about. If you like you speak else ask him not to else leave it. Is it such a question to ask in such a forum ?

Why English

Everyone has the right to speak whatever he/she likes.
Maybe English is so a f**king good language,so worth speaking frequently.
