How do you find out the tracking number at DOL ?

Hi,

My case was transmitted to SFO DOL on 12/08/2003. I have the transmittal notice and I also have the case # for the SWA. How can I find out the case number at DOL so that I can track it ? You help would be greatly appreciated. My attorney changed and my new attorney does not know my case number yet. My old attorny is too snobbish to help.

The case number that you have should be from SF DOL. Call 1-415-975-4617 and select option 1 and 1 and enter the case you got in the letter and you will get the updated information, if any.

I am in the same situation, but it seems like the case # from the State SESA is different from the DOL case #. They dont even seem to have same number of digits.

I am still searching for the answer to the same question..

How you guys get case number from state level. May be it is different, if you are from CA. In AZ we don't get case number in state level. We get case number only when it is received in DOL.
If you think the case number is not from DOL then call the same number and select the option 1 then 2 and enter your employer phone number which has been provided in your labor application form. Best of luck

What if your employer has multiple cases and so many cases every month. How do you figure out correctly which one is yours?

I did not come across that situation. May be you can try and find which is very close to your transferred date. I hope the AVM will give all case numbers for that employer.
