how do you calculate ND?

Hello gurus,
Can somebody tell me how to calculate ND? If my Lin number is LIN-01 255 xxxx what ND does that correspond to?..a friend called IIO and they told him that NSC is processing based on ND

Your lawyer should have received the receipt notice for I-485 application. And on that the Receipt Dt and Notice Dt. are specified.

Normaly lawyer sends a copy to the candidate (you).

I will try to request a copy from the lawyer...Also, I spoke with some colleagues and it seems that the computation is based on julian dates beginning Oct1, 2000...so LIN-01-255 would mean 255 julian days since Oct 1, 2000...I dont know if it is calendar days or working days.
