How do we know EB2 or EB3 in ETA-9089

These forums helped me to figure this out. So I am passing it on.
EB2 - Master's degree is required ( and needed by job duties) or Bachelors and 5 years of post bachelor experience.
Anything less than that would be EB3.

P.S. Just Master's degree would be sufficient but would look a bit weird. In real world Master's degree should be followed by at least one year of experience...Just my opinion

Where do you see in ETA-9089, does it belong to EB2 or EB3?, before filing my application.

You do not see that. If it meets the requirements posted above, when filing I-140 you mark EB2 (advance degree), if it does not meet, you specify EB3 ( do not remember what it says, maybe professional?).

Eb2 or EB3 is not mentioned anywhere on ETA 9089.

EB2 or EB3 gets decided at I-140 stage based on what minimum job requirements have been mentioned on ETA9089.

If minimum job requiremnets are either MS+0 OR BS+5 (post Bachelor's degree experience only), then one can claim EB2 category at the I-140 stage.
