I am ready to file for my 485 but am a contractor . these days i change project every 3-4 mths or so. also because of this all my mail goes to my cousins address which i treat as my home now. what address do i give for my 485 . do i give the cousins address ??? any isues with that .. also when i change project do i file ar11 again. as per my view filing ar11 does not change the address on the application. is that true ... pls comment
 
You can use your cousine's address as long as:
1 It is a valid address where you can receive mails addressed to you
2 You can travel to that location for your FP, interview etc.
3 Your paystub has the same address
4 You have D/L at that addrees

1&2 are mandatory.
3 is needed to avoid any tax related complications
4 is reccomended when you apply for EAD (they check D/L at NSC)
 
You are expected to pay taxes in your 'home' state, your paystubs/W-2 must reflect it. It is more of an IRS problem than CIS. However it is better to set the record staright.
