Ask him - give him a call, send an email etc. In my case, the lawyer's firm has a web site where I can do my status check - and that is how I know. In general, if your job required a master's degree, or a bachelor's plus 5 or more years of experience, there is a good chance that yours is EB2. But I know of less than honest companies who have pulled a fast one on unsuspecting clients, especially if the company is in the body-shopping or contracting business. In such circumstances, the lawyer sides with them and may not reveal your status. Let me know if this works, if not, I will find a way for you to find out. Good luck!
