How do I get my LC CASE number ? Chicago

I received a letter from my Attorney that my file has been moved from State to R
egional (Chicago).
At this time I do not have any case number, in general do they send any case num
ber after the receipt from State office. If so, how long does it take ?

The only way to find out ur case number is to send an email
with LC Status in subject and employee Ph no in the body.
if you know on what date it is moved from sesa to Regional(Reciept date) you can tie up with job code and Reciept date.
It worked for me and I came to know my case number

by the way what is ur Reciept date in Chicago DOL.

I have no idea about my receipt number, but I have a letter from Iowa state agency that my application has been moved to Chicago Regional office (dated with May 09).

I also got a mail from iowa sate dated june 09. It was the date actually the fed ex reached them.

LC - Case number

I have asked my company to give the phone number or TAX ID, but I did not get any....Like you I too received my Iowa letter from Iowa workforce, so I feel it works.
