How do i contact a Senator!

Hi all,

It has been a long time since I filed my 485 but it is still pending. I wanted to know how to contact a senator to try to move my case forward. What all details do I need to pass to him? I am from Chicago, IL. My 485 details are as follows:

RD/ND - 04/01
FP 06/01
RFE 06/02

No wonder, I am getting frustrated!

First of all this is my timeline :
ND 8/1/2001
EAD 11/20/2001
FP 2/6/2002
2nd EAD 11/18/2002

Still waiting...

I went to congressman Guiterraz's office and asked them if they could check this for me but there I was told that by their info INS is still approving cases from March 2001 (I was there about 3-4 weeks ago), so they would not do anything about it yet.

As far as what you have to do... Just find your congressman (actually it does not even have to be in your disctrict by the way) and go to their office (good thing would be to call just to make sure they do this stuff) .
