How difficult is it to get I-485 approval?

Hi,
   I submitted my I-140 (NIW) to NSC on 6/4/2002. I got Notice of Action
dated 6/5/2002. It says the processing will take 2 to 3 months.

   I have the feeling that my NIW will get approved (Nothing rational, maybe Godsent).
Therefore, I am thinking ahead. How difficult is it to get I-485 approval after I-140
has been approved? I heard that it is almost a certainty to get the I-485
approval. Is it true?

You have a smooth road ahead once I 140 is done

It is just a matter of time to get I 485 approval, once you get your I-140 approved.

Can you share some more information about your case ? How many reference letters you got ? How did you show that your work/contribution is significant to the US society ?

How long it takes then for the adjustment status? 4-5 months or what?

Depends on where you file. I would count on at least a year, at least two if you have to go through Texas. Brian

EB1 processing

Speaking of EB1... Does anyone know if EB1 485 apps go faster than others or they all end up in the same hopeless pile? It does not seem very different according to various trakers.
Any thoughts?
