How can we maintain kids status while on EAD

My I-140 is approved and still I am working on H1. But if I dont apply 7th year extension for myself and family and switch to EAd, how can I maintain my kid's status since they dont get ead?

if u have applied for 485 for your children as well then they are automatically in status. Just ensure u have AP applied for them in case u plan on leaving the US on a vacation or any other purpose. AP is the document u need to move back and forth freely.
