How can I get through to talk to a customer service rep when calling USCIS!?

I am dialing 1800-375-5283 and I have tried almost every option there and I still can't make it to the customer service reps. I did a search on here and the options that have worked for other people don't work anymore because they changed their damn phone message. Anyone, please??:( I just need to talk to someone there...

Here is the process for opening a Service request

18003755283
option - 1, than 2, than 6, than1

Wait and it will connect to Customer Service

They require the following details from your side: LIN#, Address, last update on I485. They will take all the details and will give you Service Request #

Thanks

Thanks very much for the answer san13. One last question: I don't really have a problem, I just want to know if there is a closer center for me to go have my biometrics taken-so, just a simple general question. Do I still have to ask for a service request? Thanks again.

They will assign the closest office to you based on your address. Did you already get your fingerprint notice? You should be aware that, within 4 weeks of USCIS receiving your I-485, they will send you a notice asking you to appear at an Application Support Center. It may now take more than 4 weeks, depending on the case load. They usually assign the closest to you based on your address.

You don't need to call the USCIS for this matter. Also, see the page below to locate the closest ASC to you:

I just called them based on san13's instructions and talked to someone within seconds (it was great:D ). I also had to ask them about rescheduling options as my lawyer is clueless about this, so I did need to talk to them but I do appreciate your link, I will keep it and save it. Thanks!:)
