How can I get my parents to visit me?

Can someone help clarify?

My asylum is recommended for approval. I wish to have my parents come to US for a short visit since I can't go back to visit them. What kind of US visa should they apply?

u can do nothing to bring ur parents but they apply for tourist visa.

even if u get final asylum, u still can't bring ur parents but ur spouse or kids.
but after you get green card or yet better citizenship,, you can file petition for them.

Certain asylees coming from specially desegnated geographical areas can bring their children under 21, their siblings under 21, their parents, and their adopted children. The critical factor is what country you are coming from...for this consult with your local refugee processing agency. they will be able to tell you whether you are elligible or not.

As far as tourist visit is involved, that depends on your parents status in the the country they live. If they are wealthy and the US government believes that they will not join you in the US in asking for asylum, then it will be easy for them to obtain tourist visa. Otherwise, I can't think of other channel for them come over here....good luck
