Hi! I am from asia(Bangladesh) and winner of the DV 2007 and case number just above 4000.I am principal applicant and my wife will be accompanying with me.Probably my interview will be scheduled in january,2007.

At the moment, i am postgrade (2nd year)research student in Dublin City University ,Ireland(Masters in Engineering).I think from the interview date they will give six months time to enter into US.But my question is ,i want to finish my masters first and go to US then.

Is there any way to do that?

Yes, once approved your passport will be stamped with a temporary PR Status usually valid for one year but you only have six months to enter the US. Come into the US, activate your status that way, you can also apply for a social security number and wait for you GC if you can be here for a number of weeks (these days it takes 1-2 weeks to receive it). Then go back to Dublin but make sure to travel again to the US. If you stay out for more than one year you'll have to have a re-entry permit. So try to travel more frequently until time to finally immigrate permanently.

Good luck
