how can I check when an interview is rescheduled?

Hey everyone !

Is there any way that I can check when was my interwiew rescheduled?
I"ve tried that 1-800- number but all I got was the machine,so I was thinking to go to the Newark office (in NJ) to speak with an officer.
Do they give you any information if you don't have an appointment ?

My husband and I were scheduled for an interview on February 28,2007 .
A month before the interview we received in the mail a notice saying that the interview was canceled.
Since then we haven't recieved anything in mail.
What if the letter got lost ??

Anyone has any advice or suggestion?

9/12/2006 Married to USC.
9/26/2006 Package mailed to Chicago.
10/06/2006 Petitions recieved.
10/23/2006 Fingerprints in Newark,NJ.
10/29/2006 Interview notice recieved. (2/28/2007 Mount Laurel, NJ)
1/08/2007 EAD card recieved in the mail.
1/27/2007 Interview canceled. (notice recieved in the mail)

you can go on www.uscis.com to check your status through your case receipt

number ,,,usually, the number begins with 3 letters , hope you can find it on

your uscis notices(i-485)

Make an Infopass appointment and check everything is OK. There have been a lot of cases recently where people have been sent interview cancellation notices, and then had their AOS denied because they didn't show up to the interview they were told were cancelled.

Don't panic - I'm sure this hasn't happened to you. However you should go talk to them to absolutely make sure everything is OK with your case.

Case status online or the USCIS telephone hotline will not help you BTW, you need to go to the office.
