How can I apply for duplicate Original I-140 Action Notice?

Hi, My I-140 was approved on 8/23/2001 and I am applying for AC140 now. But the package sent to the embassy was lost after reached there, so I lost all my original documents. Can someone tell me how can I apply for duplicate Original I-140 Action Notice from INS (NSC)? And how long will it take?

I think you\'ve to file I-824...

its the same form people use to switch from AOS to CP that you\'ve to use to get Duplicate Notice

When your I-140 gets approved they send out 2 approval notices. One is an approval copy for your lawyer and the other is courtesy copy for your employer. You can use either for filing of your CP. If possible, get the courtesy copy and use it instead of filing for duplicate. Good luck!
