how and when to apply for citizenship

My husband was a GC holder when we married, now he has become citizen for year. when can I apply for citizenship? do I have to get my GC first? what form to fill out

Where are you right now? if in the USA on what visa status?

You'd need to get your Green Card first and remain married to your husband for 3 years after obtaining your Green Card to file for citizenship.

What forms, depends on your answer to my first 2 questions.

Very comprehensive info.

Your husband will have to petition for you (form I-130) and also adjust your status (form I-485). There are some other forms he is supposed to file. The USCIS website is a good source of information.

You'll be able to apply for us citizenship only after three years of marriage. For now you'll have to apply for a conditional green card.
