I am in the US on an E2 spouse visa with a work permit. In September last year I had my PERM approved (sponsored by my employer). My employer is about to file my I-140. Can anyone confirm what my priority date is - I have previously been told it is the date from your PERM application. I hope this the case as my category is EB3 rest of world which is currently processing June 05 and my PERM was approved in September 2006 - could that mean I am only a year and a half away ??!!
