Houston Transfer

My Case got transferred from VSC to BCIS local office@Houston.

I understand from this forum that people have been waiting for eternity to get an interview date. This prompted me to visit the local office@Houston , spoke to a guy at the inquiry counter . He asked me to fill up a status inquiry form and did not give any info about the interview dates .Later spoke to another IIO and she said it takes 6 months to get an interview date.

Over the weekend I have been contemplating about relocating to a different city , probably Austin but then had a thought what if Houston opens up my file 6 months hence and then transfer it to San Antonio. What would be anyone's guess in this forum about timeline involved in transferring to a diff office?

If I change my address at this point , Do I have to intimate just VSC or both Houston and VSC?

If we Houstonites come together make a petition and ask the good offices of Rajiv Khanna to do the needful in pursuing it with Houston BCIS, would it help? or Write a letter to Senator/local Congressman about this, will it help?

Did they tell you the reason for the transfer?

I did not ask about the reason of transfer. it doesn't matter to know the reason.
