Just passed my interview in Houston DO on Sep 8th. I learned so much from this forum and I just want to post my experience too.

Here is the full timeline:
PD: 06/01/2005
FP: 7/29/2005
Interview: 09/08/2005
Oath: 09/21/2005

The whole process was very quick and smooth, as you can see, it took less than four months.
My interview was very smooth too. It was scheduled for 12:40pm on Sep 8th, and I was there around 12:00pm. Parking was a little trouble cause I did not see any parking space for visitors, so I had to park across the street.
When getting into the building, I was told to leave my appointment letter in a little box and wait. 10 minutes later, came out an male officer who calls my name and ask me to follow him. He is very nice and professional, asked me a couple of casual questions while walking toward his office.
The interview itself took about 5 minutes, he first hand me a sheet of paper with 10 quiz questions, very easy. Then he ask me a few questions like "have you ever been arrested?" and such. That's it. After everything said and done, he told to wait outside for the oath letter.
Another 10 minutes later, I got my oath schedule letter for 09/21 ceremony.

Thanks again for all the helpful information on this board.
