Wed Jun 02, 2004 - Went to the Houston Local Office around 2 pm. No outside line and about 10 people in the inside line to get a number. Our luck, they ran out of numbers by the time we got to the window around 2:15pm. The lady was nice and tried to talk to the supervisor who informed us that we have to come back tomorrow. She gave us a referral slip which said that we have to be at the doors at 6:30 so we can bypass the lines and be amongst the first 20 people in line.

Thu Jun 03, 2004 - Arrived at the doors at sharp 6am. No standing in outside line (around 200 people standing in rain). Got to the ticket window at 6:35am. Got 2 numbers, one for me and other for my wife. First number called at 7:05am. Luckily it was the same lady who was handing out tickets the day before and she remembered me. I asked if she could process my wife's at the same time as well and she said no problem. All the paper work, finger print, and stamping done in the next 10 minutes. Heard 'Congratulations' from the officer. Out of the building around 7:25am when it finally hit me and my wife that it is over ... patience has been rewarded ....

BTW, documents I took with me:
- Approval notice (attorney's copy)
- Passport
- 2 ADIT style photos
- Driver's license
- I-94
- Prior EADs (all of them, although I think only the last one is required)
- Prior APs (all of them, although I think only the last one is required)

Good luck to all of the ones still waiting patiently ...
