Houston Stamping Question

Do we get a ticket number from the same window of other applicants such as AP or EAD? Or is the window denoted 'Interview Permanant....' the one we should get a ticket number from?

We went to the INS at about 11AM and were told they ran out of tickets for stamping. But our lawyer said we went to the wrong window to get the ticket.

Please share some of your experience. Thanks.
 
I think u should show the approved letter and proceed to window 16 (if I remember correctly). But they do run out of tickets everyday no matter ppl come with approvals. I would suggest to go early around 8:00 am or so. Don't stand in the line outside. Show the approval letter to the security guy outside and proceed to the window.

I waited for 3 hours after I got my ticket. So it does take time

dont go on friday afternoons. they close early on fridays
 
Went there again at about 5:30am on Tuesday. Got the ticket at 7:45am. Stamped at 11:00am. It seems they run out of tickets everyday at some point. So better be early for these days.
