Hourly rate on EAD

Hello Folks,

Should there be a problem if my company makes an offer: ‘Go on an hourly rate’ rather than give me an annual increment?

Have folks gotten queries in this scenario – Since the Salary on paper at time of GC application has changed over period of time.

Am in EAD past 16 months.
