Hotels

I stayed in Hotel Royal Castle. Phone # 2388 3888

Price was about 1500Rs per night. It was clean & safe, though small & not exactly a posh hotel. Shalimar I think is the other alternative at Rs.5,000

Royal Castle is about a 5 minute drive(in the morning) from the consulate & breach Candy(that's where I did my medicals in July 2004.).

Everyone knows Gowali Tank(opposite to a chest hospital)
