Hotel and Medicals for Mumbai CP

Hi,
I would request people who either have gone through CP at Mumbai or are planning for Oct CP to suggest good hotel to stay while in Mumbai for CP.
Secondly, how many days before the CP interview, one should get the medical exams done? Any detailed experience would really help as to how the whole process goes- I mean when the labs are done and then how one goes to get immunizations checked and after all this when does one see the doctor.
I am trying to plan the trip, as I expect to get the interview date for October.

Answers: I will leave for others to respond to this one! I have seen listing on Shalimar for Rs 4000 per day with excellent desi breakfast.

Answer: Recommended atleast 3 days before. Worst come worst even if you dont get medical records in time, you can turn them in at a later date that week and get your gc status by stamping your passport.

Answer: Depending on availability one gets a immigrant medical check up appointment. It is ideal to call the hospital (Breach candy/ hinduja/ lilavati) once you get an appointment date and request immigrant medical checkup. Reports are given same evening. One can meet the doctor same evening or next day (if required).

Diwali is on 25th as per hindu calendar.

I checked with Breach Candy and the gentleman i spoke to said that they are working on 24th october but not on 25th and 26th october being weekend plus diwali.
