This is what happened...
My 2fp was sced. for 04/22 @2:00 pm. I was at their office by 1:15pm.(there was already a very long queue ahead me!!).
I parked my car at the nearby houly parking garage thinking that my job would get done in an hour's time.. I joined the line and was waiting waiting & still waiting for my turn and thats all i did and my turn never came..the reason being it was 4:00 pm and it was time for them to close the office.. Ultimately, i was on the road for 3 long hours wasting all my time doing absoltuely nothing..
i hadalso brought my spouse for an early Fp whose date is sced. a month later than mine.. So the two of us with our 10 month old baby came back home disappointed after wasting 15 dollars just for the parking of our car..
The reason the IIO gave us for sending about 50- 60 people back home are
1. one of their system had crashed
2. It was 4: 00pm ,their working hours are over and they would not take anymore applications.
3. We will not be given the first prefernce even if we come on anyother day meaning that we have to stand in the line again and we might be turned down again if they close their office..
4. One of their employees was absent that day..
All excuses like school children
I finally went on at 6:00 am on saturday morning and was out by 10 am.
This BCIS or whatever ever stinking name it is called it totally sucks!!
Few questions..
I am desperately trying of an early Fp for my spouse( pl. note that it is not for early approval)
Is any other day and time favorable for that in newark?
Or, any experience with hackensack or cherry hill?
Can i get my Fp done in a center other than the one mentioned in the notice??
