Hoping against hope..

I know some ppl might laugh at the idea..but this whole thing just simply doesn't make any sense to me...
Also, we have not seen any new update "directly" from USCIS...

Only 2 months ago they were of the view that theCut off dates for EB3 will be around June 02 & for EB1 will be "current" till the end of the year...
Now, HOW COME, almost overnight (within 2 months),..they recalculated & come out so "OFF"...Its just simply not possible that someone can make SUCH big mistakes with the numbers.....UNLESS there is big change in some RULES...

so hoping against hope....

How many of you think that it an error in tha data which might be corrected soon???

seems Katrina effect

You are 100% logical.I was thinking in same line. But unfortunately this USCIS does everything in its own style. If you recollect the sep bulletin, they themselves predicted that all the country except Ind,china etc will be current.Just after 1 month ,it gone down to 2001 ? EB2 to 99 ? Not possible.I am guessing that its Katrina effect. The job loss due to Katrina is huge and hence may have thaught to put some GC job seeker on hold.I know one thing ,this USCIS works on job prospect.Remember when 01-03 they were sleeping and also querying the CA labor elft and right.Suddenly they approved left and right and they are ahead of the pack.Normally they give hint to AILA.So only so big thing in last 1 month has happened is Katrina and my guess is thinking in that direction. They are trying to acheive GC in 6 months and asking us to wait for 6 years .what is the logic?
