As long as you work 'full time' = 36-40 hours per week for your waiver job, you are free to do other things on the side.
Be careful though, you don't want to have income that is not from your H1 employer as this could raise questions of unlawful employment later on during the GC process. Depending on the relationship you have with your H1 employer, you could route these honararia through the employer (and unfortunately pay payroll taxes on them).
