Hong long to stay with current company after I-485 approval

Hi guys:

My green card was approved a couple of months ago with ND 11/02 with no RFE. And I would like to know if I am able to change my job after 3 months. My current company is not my sponsoring company, which has no idea of my approval status. I know there is theroy that I might be in trouble when I apply for citizenship or renew my green card later on. However, based on AC21, I am free to change job after I-485 is pending over 180 days. Am I more restricted in term of changing job after getting approval?

Hi Green,

Yes, one has to stay for some time with the current employer once I485 is apporved..Murthy .COM says a period of six months is more than enough....and a period of less than six months might..get you in trouble at the time of citizenship....thats what Imme pandits say...
