Hong long does it take to get INS decision on B2 extension request ?

Hi,

I want to get answer from those who have real experience or know somebody who has the real exprience: Hong long does it take to get INS decision on B2 extension request ? I mean, suppose I file the I-539 form for B2 visa extension, how long do I usuaully need to wait to get a "Yes" or "No", or"Add some document" type answer ?

For people who applied in May 02 it took about 40 days for approval. But for those who applied in June 02, the receipt notice said it will take 30 to 60 days. I am referring to Texas consulate only.

I applied for extension on July 1 and got the approval on Aug 6 in Texas service center
