All,

I am so pleased to let everybody know that my case has been approved. Just now I saw a bunch of emails from USCIS CSC.
When I saw the result, they approved my I-140 and I-485 for me as well as my wife has been concurrently approved. Tears rolled my eyes when I saw this message even though I am in office. There is no RFE. I am in a mid size consulting company in Bay Area. I have not received approval notices yet.

You Guys are the first whom I am letting know of this news. I am so grateful to this forum. Special thanks to Rajiv S. Khanna, Kashmir, I_140_takes_forever and all of you who has given me guidance and courage to complete this long journey.

My case details are :-

Labour Certification -- June 2001 (RIR CSC)
I-140 and I-485 Concurrent RD -- Sept 2003
I-140 and I-485 Concurrent AD -- Sept 2004

A long journey has come to an end. I pray for everybody speedy approval and May God Bless you all.

I have some questions still. I appreciate your responses as usual.
a) My wife is supposed to return from back home after one month. Will there be any issue if I go for stamping after a month. She is planning to enter using AP. Please advice.
b) What is the green card approval date. Is it the date I-485 was approved, I-551 was stamped on PP or Green Card received date.

Thanks,
-Honeybee
:D ;) :p

Congratulations !!!

Due to my passport renewal delay, it was stamped more than a month after my approval date. I didn't have a problem doing so.

Congratulations! Glad to see your approval, it would be more helpful if you released the series numberr of your approval so people can track their cases better.

All the best for the future and good luck!

1. Shouldn't be a problem, if you know her return trip date, go ahead and make an infopass appointment early so you get the date you want.
2. Yes

congratulations!

In my case, stamp in passport shows "...lawfull admission... date 08/25/04", which is somewhat earlier than 485 approval => 08/31/04 with e-mail notification on 09/01/04.

optimistique,

I have not sent any fax to USCIS, though I sent couple of faxes to Congressman and senators. I asked my lawyer to send a fax inquiry but he didn't want to move his ass. He told me that he will send the inquiry in April 2005 if it does not comes through !!

Thanks,
-Honeybee
