Hey guys,
I know someone mentioned something bout this before but i cant seem to find it. How long does it usually take to receive the actual card after the interview. I had my interview on Dec 4th in Charlotte NC and got Approved. I received my welcome letter a week or so later but no sign of GC yet. Any idea on how long it usually takes to get the physical card.
Thanks.

Small matter...

:)

Do erect a small camp outside the post office, each load which is brought in, go through it till you get your letter from USCIS.... :D

I can be anywhere between 2 weeks to 60 days, at times, could be a 6 months to receive the actual steel card... However, on January 5th, 2007,if you haven't received anything yet, call the 1800 number and tell them you are yet to receive your card, they should be able to chew you.. I meant...give you an update on what is going on...

Enjoy and be patient...it should be in the mailbox soon... :D

There were 4 of us on this forum whose interviews were in December. Only pybky got his welcome notice and green card and that was Dec 5th (his appointment), Mine and jung's were December 7th

niadara was Dec. 20 - she got email update about approval

So it looks like we all are waiting for our approval letters and green card. If it goes like it usually goes, we should get them about the same time. Make sure to post in our thread.

still waiting also...

I had my interview on Dec 5th, Chicago DO, family based.

I was approved and the officer said around 2-3 weeks for the green card to arrive.

Well, as of today (28th Dec) - I didn't receive anything - no e-mail updates, no letter, no card.
My attorney told me the Xmas and New year holidays can cause a few delays,
but we are going to make an infopass appointment if nothing is received by Jan 5th.

I guess it's just slow at this time of year.
