I know several couples (friends of friends) with stay at home nannies from other countries (China). They hired them most notably since they were very cheap and advised it was legal. Since I'm about to have a child, with the economy and high day care costs, I'm willing to research this route, if legal.
Is it really legal? I'm briefly scanning the websites and I can't see how a someone could apply for a work visa as a nanny. They don't really have a special skill in my opinion.
