Hiring attoney?

Just wonder if hiring attorney is better off submitting for PR (after one year). How complicated is the filling out forms? Attorneys are charging like $3000. Please give your suggestion.

You don't need a lawyer to submit your adjustment of status. If you need help filing out the form make an infopass appointment and they will help you out.
No need for an attorney.

Thank you so much for the information. Have several questions after reading forms and instructions. Appreciate your help.

1. Should I-485 be submitted to the same PO box address of Nebraska center mentioned in the form? Is there any separate PO box address for Asylee?

2. What alternative can be submitted instead of birth certificate?

3. As proof of physical presence, photocopies of monthly rental receipts are acceptable?

4. Is G-325A required? It is not mentioned in the link but it is in the I-485 instructions.

In addition to above questions, some cases are "transferred to TSC". Why is it?

If you need help with your I-485 you can always check if your local Catholic Charities office or another non-profit organization that works with immigrants offers free or low cost services. They helped me a lot with the paperwork and so on.
