Hindu Priest Visa

One of my friends would like to invite his Religious Priest (HINDU) form INDIA

What are the document does he require to sponsor him?

Do they have a special visa for Religious Priest or only visitor visa?

An individual cannot request a visa for a priest, only a registered religious organization can do that.

Religious workers come on R1 visa. Make a search on net - lots of stuff is available about R1 visa.
