Higher salaray while I485 is pending

Hi all..its unlikely that it will happen but there are chances that I might be getting a salary hike which is going to be 15k or more for the same position) than the salary in LC..Will this cause any problems?

Please share your experiences.

I believe you should not have a problem if the job duties are progressive and you are getting the hike based on the duties.
