Hib Visa Stamping Expired

Hi,
I am srinivas. I have an H1b visa stamping (through chennai consulate)up to 2003 march 1st. I changes to another company, they transfor my h1 so i got their h1b up to oct 2003.

Actually i came to india for vacation on last week.
so how many day i need to go back(before stamping date). some people told it is must to report there before one month.some people told one week is enough. pl give me proper information to my problem

if suppose i need to send my papers to chennai consulate again for stamping..what are the documents i need to submit to them ,pl give me full documents list information..

You do not need to get another visa stamp in Chennai. You can reenter showing your old company visa stamp AND (v. important) your new company I-797 notice of approval any time before your visa expiry. Make sure your I-94 indicates new company/new dates.

After re-entry, you can re-validate your visa stamp within the U.S
