HIB Receipt Copy How to ?

Hi All,


I browsed through lot of questionaries posted here and the answers to them. They are very helpful. But now i got one. Please help me.

My H1 expired on Jul 30 2003 and even my I-97 also. I applied for my H1 transfer with a diferent company and they applied on Aug 5th on a normal processing. Still i didn't get my H1. Now the terms with the company are not so encouraging so i want to go with different company. I have my EAC number but not the receipt copy. If i want to file with different company i should have the receipt copy but i don't have it . And my employer is not willing to give me. So how can i get the Receipt copy. Is there any way for that. If not can i file with other company with my EAC number.

I would be greatly thankful to you if you can give me a perfect soluition for this.

H1 transfer based on receipt copy

Hi there,
Iam not 100% sure if one can initiate new h1 transfer(or altogether a new H1 petition) based on pending H1 transfer,like your case......but having said that i feel it's an option to explore.....i remember reading some similar experiences in this forum..not quite sure though.....try posting your query in the relevant h1 forum.

Also, i advise you to seek an attorney's help ASAP!
